Electronic Arts Inc. today announced that Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 08 will be breaking new ground with two key features. EA SPORTS™ GamerNet* is a revolutionary game play system driven by interactive user created content. It allows gamers to save their amazing shots, holes or rounds, and post the content online for other users to compete against. In addition, players can now use Photo Game Face* to generate photo-realistic game characters with no artistic skill required, by uploading photos.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 will be produced by the EA Tiburon in Orlando, FL which is best known for the award winning Madden NFL Football and NCAA Football® franchises.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR is the world’s #1 selling golf video game franchise. With the EA SPORTS GamerNet system, players will be able to challenge creator posted content and be rewarded with online points. Utilizing Photo Game Face, players can take their created characters and style, dress, and accessorize themselves through the game’s already deep customization systems.

Rumours are circulating that Blizzard will be launching a beta for StarCraft 2 at the end of the year, with supposed game details additionally hitting the internet.
